Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of this role will include creating change requests and deviations, as well as developing detailed standard operating procedures. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously maintaining log books to ensure accurate documentation of processes and procedures.
Ideally, candidates should have at least one year of relevant industry experience or a 4 year degree in writing.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all quality control activities.
- Create controlled documents for the Master Manufacturing Record (MMR), including Finished Product Specifications and Mixing Instructions based on the Master Formula.
- Review and approve batch records and generate a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) based on test results and other quality-related documents.
- Communicate with production, warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely release of products and materials.
- Investigate and resolve any non-conformances or deviations from established procedures.
- Create and issue logbooks and associated working forms used in cGMP areas.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and training records to ensure compliance.
- Assist in training teams on newly approved procedures when needed.
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with customers (internal and external) to determine documentation requirements when needed.
- Implement and log change requests when applicable.
- Stay current with changes in regulations and industry standards related to dietary supplements.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
