Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Manager. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Coordinate and schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen management team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Assist with food production and handling when necessary
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for front-of-house positions
- Oversee banquet events and ensure successful execution
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and shift management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for guests
- Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
