Job Description:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the site. This includes ensuring guest satisfaction, managing staff, maintaining facilities, and maximizing revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the site to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of managers and staff.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly.
- Oversee property maintenance, upgrades, and renovations as necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a resort or hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- High level of organizational and multitasking skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
