DC Endodontics Center is looking for a fulltime Front Desk Coordinator to work at the Washington, DC location. The Front Desk Coordinator professionally gives exceptional customer service and great first impressions to all who walk into the DC Endodontics Center Washington DC office. In addition, we pay for metro and parking.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Coverage:
- Answers phones promptly, professionally, and pleasantly.
- Effectively uses Dental software with no errors.
- Efficient in-patient flow by promptly greeting, checking-in/out; and receiving proper documentation in a timely manner.
- Handles end of day closing procedures and properly prepares for following business day
Training will be provided for the below Sterilization Technician Responsibilities.
- Sterilizing instruments
- Preparing trays with appropriate setup
- Operate and maintain sterilizing equipment including autoclaves & ultrasonic
- Organize and stock supplies
- Cleaning and breaking down rooms
- Properly prepare operatories for patient treatments
Patient Support:
- Assists patients with registration process and confirming copays and treatment plans are accurate and signed.
- Monitor patient in waiting areas to ensure superior customer service is received.
- Ensure waiting areas and restrooms are disinfected to meet CDC and safety guidelines.
Doctor Support:
- Promptly informs doctors when patients arrive, communicates all schedule changes to doctors.
- Mail patient treatment reports to referring providers.
- Marketing – consistently mail welcome packets and referral pads to general dentists.
Team Support:
- Effectively coordinates and collaborates with peers, and other departments to ensure treatment plans are accurate and meet patient needs.
- Works independently or in a team environment.
- Willingly steps in to assist others and responds to patient and staff requests in real time.
Communication:
- Communicates effectively with patients, peers, and supervisor.
- Is timely with need-to-know information.
- Patients state interactions with employee are positive and courteous.
Qualifications:
- Degree Requirement: Associates Degree preferred. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency Level Required with MS Office Products: intermediate.
- Experience with working in an office environment, answering phones and scheduling.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Function effectively in a time-sensitive environment while meeting multiple deadlines.
