● JOB SUMMARY: To assure the guests of Old Hickory Golf Club have the best experience by seeing to the needs of the guests in any way possible such as outside golf services, food and beverage services, and especially any golf shop needs. Our Outside Service team members are responsible for cleaning and staging golf carts, ensuring the golf practice areas are clean and well stocked, and assisting with event and outing set up.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and members. The ability to drive a golf cart, walk and stand for long periods of time, and work outdoors is essential to the position.
KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE: Ability to operate a cash register, Phone system, POS system, and other types of golf equipment helpful. Basic golf knowledge is helpful. Computer skills such as Word and Excel are helpful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS: Make sure all Old Hickory policies and procedures are being followed at all times. Provide excellent customer services, professional advice, and assistance to all patrons. Assist the professional staff in running the day-to-day golf cart and range operations of the club. Assist in controlling and managing play. Be responsible for your assigned tasks and take pride in your work. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image. Be informed on and promote all club rates, activities, and services. Assist in coordinating tournaments and outings. Report all concerns and problems to the Head Golf Professional. Always ensure friendly and courteous customer relations, identifying and welcoming current patrons and work to identify and grow future business through guest relations. Keep an open line of communication with all departments and keep them posted on what is happening in the department. Assist with other duties as requested by the Head Golf Professional.
Schedule is made through a network called Homebase where you can request days off, switch shifts and communicate with other employees and management.
Typical Shifts are:
Open (Approx) 8:00am to 1:00pm
Close (Approx) 1:00pm to 8:00pm
All shifts are subject to change depending on weather and how busy the course is as well as daylight.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.50 per hour
