The individual with this position will have to split their time in-between the Pasadena engineering team objectives, field service, field service reports and shop engineering support at 1910 Jasmine Drive. This engineering position will entail a dual role with hands-on-responsibilities along with other engineering tasks. It is expected that the individual will need training as part of on-boarding process and Sulzer will accommodate.
Job Requirements –

Preferred 0 – 4 years’ experience in the following field of electrical engineering.

Electric motor, generators repairs and design.

Proficient in basic power theory,

Role

The electrical engineer will be responsible to perform on-site field service preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on electromechanical equipment.

They will also be responsible to provide the reports for the job performed to the customer in a timely manner.

Prioritize internal safety initiatives as assigned.

Assist with shop projects which are electromechanical in nature.

This role will require the individual to be hands-on and involved in the day-to day operations.

Based on proficiency, certain aspects of project management may also be assigned.
