Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique learning styles and needs effectively.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues and staff to design and execute a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes holistic development.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of each child, communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's growth and achievements.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
Qualifications:
- CDA preferred but not required.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Profound understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Familiarity with curriculum planning, assessment techniques, and educational standards for preschool education.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for working with young children, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.
- Successful completion of a background screening.
