Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates with the Maintenance Manager regarding daily work activities
- Supports the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime
- Champions safety wearing appropriate PPE, reporting and reacting to unsafe conditions
- Proactively drives the monitoring and submitting the ordering of departmental supplies
Essential Functions:
- Works with Production to analyze and troubleshoot problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs
- Performs mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
- Inspects, operates and tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed
- Completes all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed documenting the equipment worked on, the department, the work performed, time to complete, date completed, materials used and any other findings and/or notes
- Participates in Continuous Improvement by providing suggestions to improve processes and participates on team projects

Pre-requisite Skills:
- Comprehends basic troubleshooting processes
- Ablility to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, schematics and blueprints
- Good verbal skills with a high degree for an attention to details
- Multi‐task oriented, a high degree of mechanical aptitude
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Ability to make snap (quick) decision and work independently but harmoniously with others
- Ability to drive a forklift
