The Project Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and maintaining critical Project Governance processes within the Content Development team. This role is responsible for organizing, executing, and tracking projects on Ascend’s roadmap, directly supporting organizational goals and objectives. This position is also responsible for project governance reporting and the associated dashboard maintenance, along with the calculation of project KPIs. In addition to managing individual project cost, timeline, resources, and scope, this position collaborates frequently with colleagues across wide-reaching Ascend organizations to perform appropriate gap analysis and risk management of project health.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Program Manager and Product Owners to deliver on project deliverables/scope, capturing and documenting launch criteria and acceptance.
- Identify, manage and mitigate project-specific risks that may impact cost, timeline, resources, and scope.
- Maintain administration of dashboards that support the Project Governance team to report on key metrics regarding project health.
- Forecast project spend monthly and maintain budget for project lifecycle.
- Build detailed project plans in conjunction with teams across Ascend to capture tasks, dates, and resources assigned to project execution.
- Collaborate with teams across wide-reaching Ascend organizations to ensure implementation tasks are managed in preparation for project launch.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings to discuss and coordinate deliverables with core project team.
- Collaborate with Program Manager to support evolving program process management standards, leveraging project expertise to provide constructive input and support of Program Manager and program standards.
Required Skills:

At least 2 years of project coordination or project administration experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
- Experience with Jira preferred
- Experience with SharePoint database administration and maintenance
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
- Experience with preparation of executive level presentation materials
- Understanding of common project management methodologies and concepts
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business processes and practices
