Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative -Level 1 is one of our 503B Product and Service experts and detailer. He/she is a proficient communicator and helps the Outside Field Sales Team optimize relationships while increasing account size and product revenue potential. The ISR-1 plays a critical role in helping us grow our business by building strong customer relationships with assigned Hospital Accounts with the goal of presenting Wells Pharma of Houston Product Portfolio, Pricing, and onboarding new customers with a commitment to purchase various Wells Pharma products/services.
Responsibilities:
- Expected functions of this role include but, not limited to calling on assigned customer/accounts via phone/computer with the intent of presenting the Wells Pharma Product Portfolio, Pricing quotes, and negotiate deals towards a successful close for incremental sales business.
- Analyze existing accounts with the potential of becoming a larger volume account by presenting additional products.
- Expected to revive deceased or decreasing accounts by introducing top line products and programs.
- Communicates awareness to low size accounts and decent size accounts using low volume products of minimum order policies, longer service times, possible higher prices and specific product list to choose from.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, regulatory changes etc. + communicates to the VP of Sales.
- Updates CRM profiles with detailed and accurate account information and communication notes.
- Follows established sales operating procedures and best practices.
- Always communicates facts and never makes invalidated claims.
- Expected to maintain a minimum number of outgoing communications via phone and email.
- Works closely with the Outside Field Sales Team in helping assist that team in meeting Sales Objectives.
- Meets all performance expectations and regularly exceeds sales metrics
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge and Skills:
Customer centric + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to interact effectively with potential customers via phone and email.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry: pharmaceutical products, compounding, and specific clinical treatments.
- High intellectual curiosity and integrity.
- Accurately pronounce medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
- High organizational skills, multitasker, prioritize and manage time efficiently, attention to detail, and possess high level of accuracy.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales outbound call center or related sales experience required.
- Experience with CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) required.
- Pharmaceutical Experience and 503B Experience Preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office plus in written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to maintain above average attendance and punctuality.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
