Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
