Position Summary:
The Applications Engineer will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and the specific needs of our clients. This individual will work closely with our sales, engineering, and product development teams to understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

In This Role You Will:
· Work with customer, sales personals and sales representatives on end user application and develop the right electrical solution.
· Consult with plants and engineering in interpreting and defining new equipment applications.
· Providing technical support and expertise to customers
· Develop a variety of basic sales drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs.
· Develop project proposals using the sales drawings and BOM. The proposals will include mechanical and electrical switchboard and switchgear components.
· Advise engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing – when required – in interpreting information for the accurate production of equipment in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements.
· Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature.
Qualifications/Skills:
· BA or BS with 3-5 years related experience.
· Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology or engineering sector.
· Strong technical proficiency in areas such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a creative and analytical approach to finding solutions.
· Proficiency in CAD software, programming languages, and other relevant tools is desirable.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
· Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to exceeding client expectations.
· Proficient with standard MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), including smartphone applications (Outlook, Text, Voice).
