Milrose Consultants LLC (MCL) is seeking a Business Development Director to support the growth of our platform’s strategic partner Howard L. Zimmerman Architects & Engineers D.P.C. (HLZAE).
MCL is the nation’s largest provider of building code consulting and municipal compliance services. Our strategic partner, HLZAE, is a full-service architectural and engineering firm that specializes in the restoration, preservation, and alteration of existing buildings and their systems. Together, our passion drives us to construct a best-in-class consultant services practice that provides nationwide building maintenance and compliance consulting that ensures a safe, secure, and energy efficient built environment.

Key responsibilities will include:
-
Establish and maintain relationships with current and future clients and own and drive development goals.
-
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our technical team and our platform sales team.

Collaborating with the technical team to discover and personally develop opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Proactively engage active and dormant clients and new target prospects through calls, emails, and other marketing and networking campaigns to increase average spend.

Working with the marketing and sales team to acquire new clients through referrals, inquiries, and presentations. (Qualify and convert leads from marketing and sales campaigns)

Creating and expanding new industry relationships and existing network.

Contribute to sales planning and strategy.

Managing the CRM database.
Office Presence:
-
This is a hybrid position, assuming 3 days in the office on average after the initial training period which may require more in-office time.
Qualifications Include:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience (architectural or engineering background a plus)

5-10 years of experience in the AEC industry, with a proven strategic business development role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
Milrose Consultants, LLC is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by several factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.
Annual Salary Range: $100,000-$145,000 USD
Customer Service:
Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high-volume production environment. Maintains the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude either verbally or written communication.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position who is regularly scheduled to work at least a minimum of 40 hours per workweek.
Travel:
Travel to client site or municipal agency as expected for this position. Associate may be required to attend meetings at the discretion of management and/or if it is project related.
