Job Overview:
Care Hawaii is a behavioral health care organization seeking a compassionate and dependable Team Lead to support the daily functions of CAREs provision of services. CARE Hawaii, Inc. contracts with multiple stakeholders to provide an array of services.
The primary duty of the Team Lead is to be clinically and administratively responsible for the team. This includes general, individual, and group supervision of the Crisis program, supervising and directing staff activities, payroll, education, and training, and meeting all contract requirements and best practice guidelines.
Duties:
- Supervise staff and provide guidance and training as needed
- Coordinate and direct staff schedules & otreaches to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Provide suppuort and guideance to community outreach specalists
- Assist with fieldwork as needed
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with other departments and community liaisons
Experience:
- Proven experience in crisis work
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Knowledge of behavioral health and community mental health field

Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Master’s (MA) degree preferred, may have bachelor’s (BA) degree from a nationally accredited college or university in one or more of the following fields:-Social Work, Nursing, Counseling, Psychology, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Sociology, Human Development
- Other closely related fields providing the individual has completed: 12 credit hours of post high school coursework in the above areas and two (2) years of experience providing directservices to individuals with mental illness or other behavioral health issues required.
Individuals may also qualify by having one (1) or more of the following credentials: A Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) or any one of the following credentials listed below in the State of Hawaii, along with 12 credit hours of post high school coursework in the areas of psychology, counseling, social work, or other areas of human development, and one (1) year of experience providing direct services to individuals with mental illness or other behavioral health issues.
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)
- Certified Peer Specialist (HCPS)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Experience in Crisis or Crisis Field work is preferred.
Previous management experience required.
This position requires fieldwork in the community and working 1:1 with persons in crisis; applicant must have own transportation.
Salaried Position includes Weekend, Overnight, and Day shift duties.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
