Job Title: Business Office Manager

Job Description:
We seek a dedicated and experienced Business Office Manager to join our dynamic team at our assisted living facility. This key role involves a variety of responsibilities, including human resources, billing, budgeting, rent collection, and managing claims for ALTCS Medicaid. The ideal candidate will also ensure all employees have up-to-date credentials and continuing education credits, supervise the front desk receptionist, and act as the person in charge in the absence of the Executive Director. The listed responsibilities are not comprehensive and may include additional tasks not specified.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all human resources functions, including hiring, training, and maintaining employee records.
- Manage billing processes, budget preparation, and financial reporting.
- Collect rent from residents and handle accounts receivable.
- Submit claims to ALTCS Medicaid and ensure timely follow-up on all claims.
- Ensure all employees maintain up-to-date credentials and complete necessary continuing education credits.
- Supervise and support the front desk receptionist.
- Serve as the acting Executive Director when the Executive Director is out of the building.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a business office management role, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
- Strong understanding of human resources practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in billing, budgeting, and financial management.
- Familiarity with ALTCS Medicaid claims processing.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and support staff.
