The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you will focus on creating partnerships with importers that demonstrate a need for our innovative shipping solutions. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to discovery calls to client onboarding. Must-Haves
- Extensive sales experience offering global freight forwarding services, with a focus on ocean, air, inland transportation, customs brokerage and warehousing
- Hunter sales professional who can bring an active book of business focusing on importers that ship between 100-2000 containers a year.
- Track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, while navigating highly competitive deal cycles
- Reside in the USA or Canada
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for conferences, trade shows, and sales and team meetings

Compensation
Shippabo is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this role is $85,000-$100,000. With commissions and bonus, Year 1 OTE is expected to be $200K+ (and $360K+ in Year 2), with uncapped commission potential. Actual compensation is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
