PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TRAINER - YARDI
This position is for a full-time Property Management Trainer, to work in our corporate office in Stillwater, MN. Qualified candidates will provide Yardi support for each of the Summit Properties, serve as the help desk for Yardi software issues, and train employees in Yardi and company procedures.
Must be able to work closely with internal departments to troubleshoot and problem solve. Knowledge of Yardi, multifamily housing, student housing and leasing is required. This position will also be assisting with development of training guides to help staff with learning company procedures and Yardi. Involvement in company training and any individual software coaching will also be a main part of this role.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Monitors for support tickets and provides Yardi support for the Summit portfolio and serves as a help desk for Yardi software issues. Utilizes knowledge of Yardi to ensure Property Managers and all staff are utilizing the system correctly and that their training needs and accounting requirements are met. Keeps abreast of changes to housing regulations and software updates. Requires on-site visits for training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides Yardi technical assistance to site staff.
· Assists and troubleshoots with site staff and all department members
· Conduct one-on-one software (Yardi) and company procedure training for site managers and their administrative staff.
· Recommends software changes to coincide with Yardi-related updates.
· Monitors Yardi for reports that will improve our operations
· Assists to develop and implement a means of assuring the effectiveness of the training program through testing, evaluation, surveys, and other means necessary, and adjust training as needed.
· Review Yardi setup and recommend best practices for site settings
· Holds continuing educations sessions for staff, including developing training manuals
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma and some formal training/certification in computer-related field. Two years’ experience in property management. At least 2 year experience with Yardi Voyager and Rent Café CRM. Accounting/bookkeeping and student housing experience preferred.
