Acara Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Fremont
CA
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Lead assembly process/manufacturing engineer activities from Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to customer feedback

Perform DFM and provide tools like stencils and fixtures

Generate MPI and process ECO
-
Profile reflow ovens and rework stations using Super MOLE, SMT machines, PCBA inspection equipment
-
Implement first article approval activities, including visual and 3D X-ray inspection based on IPC-A-610
-
Troubleshoot assembly process issues at various inspection stages (FA/In-process/Final)

Interface with production supervisors and managers on product specifications
-
Assist in the development and training of production personnel

Conduct CAR & NCM analysis, approval, and root cause or corrective/preventive actions
Required Skills / Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in Engineering

5+ yrs. Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience focused on PCB assembly, system build, and rework processes
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Independent worker with team leadership and customer interaction skills

Excellent English communication; verbal and written

Skilled in labor time estimating, quoting, and IPC-A-610 standards

Experienced in training personnel and conducting failure analysis

Strong problem-solving abilities and effective across all organizational levels

Organized, self-motivated, proficient in project management and quality system improvements

Proficient with Microsoft Office, engineering drawings, and statistical techniques (DOE, Six Sigma)

Experience with validations and quality system assessments
