We are looking for a friendly and energetic support staff members to join our Front of House. We are a local chef owned and operated upscale casual restaurant that stresses the use of local ingredients, seafood and grits in a multitude of flavors and ways.
The ideal candidate has background experience work in a busy restaurant as either a busser, food runner, host or any combination of those positions. A warm, welcoming and friendly personality is the type of person we are looking for. Punctuality and dependability are other traits that the ideal candidate would possess. Experience is ideal, but this is also the perfect job for a high school or college student looking to get into the work force or learn new skills in a restaurant setting.
Compensation is $6 per hour plus tip out from the FOH team. Bussers and Hosts will receive 1% of the total sales from each server on that evening, the food runners receive 1.5% of total food sales for the evening. This typically works out to $18+ an hour and can be substantially more on a solo shift. Schedules are flexible and we are always happy to work around school and sports schedules.
Hours of operation for the restaurant are 5-9 Tuesday - Thursday, 5-9:30 Friday & Saturday for dinner. 9:30am - 2pm for Saturday brunch and 9:30-2:30 for Sunday brunch.
