Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications - Use CAD software to create and modify designs for machining - Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to perform assembly and disassembly of machine components - Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions - Operate milling machines to shape and finish parts - Conduct machining operations such as drilling, tapping, and reaming - Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols on blueprints - Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code - Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets - Fabricate parts by cutting, welding, and grinding as needed Skills: - Proficient in operating CNC machines and CAD software - Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in machining operations - Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations - Experience with milling machines and press brake machines - Familiarity with GD&T principles for interpreting blueprints - Ability to program CNC machines using G-code and M-code - Skilled in fabricating parts through cutting, welding, and grinding Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
