We’re looking for a high-powered CFO to help us raise a round of professional capital, ensure that our cash-management systems are in order, and participate in creating budgets and build actionable reporting systems
We are currently launching our NYC presence via native mobile apps and the release of our rearchitected web platform..

Position is virtual and may potentially be filled on a part-time basis depending on experience, etc..
Company is currently pre-funding; short-term compensation will be heavily weighted towards equity. The less cash we have to spend on executives, the more we’ll have to invest in growing our user-base. Post-funding salary commensurate with experience. Requirements:
● Lead fundraising campaigns starting with a seed round.
● A track-record of success in start-ups during both both 1) hands-on (resource-constrained) and 2) post-funding (grow hard and fast through direct hires and agency contracts) environments
● Solid working knowledge of and a demonstrated track record in fundraising, managing P&L, balance sheet, QuickBooks, preparing shareholder reports
● Solid leadership skills in the context of high-performing, highly-collaborative teams
● Rock-solid, no bullshit, “my-word-is-my-bond” reliability
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Experience in preparing pro-forma financial models & investor presentations
● Experience in working with attorneys to prepare offering documents
● Excellent managing the due diligence process and serving as CEO’s proxy where appropriate in dealing with investors.
● Solid skills in all classes of relevant productivity management software.
● MBA or equivalent analytics-focused post-graduate work strongly preferred
