About Facktor
Facktor is a leading healthcare consulting firm dedicated to driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Facktor provides guidance related to clinic development including mergers and acquisitions, financial and operational assessments, quality improvement, strategic planning, and development of Health Resources and Services Administration / Bureau of Primary Health Care (HRSA / BPHC) grant applications and implementation processes. Facktor also provides consulting services related to health center optimization, including financial management, care model re-design, and quality improvement.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Partner of Facktor, the Managing Director, Strategy, Leadership & Development will lead a team to deliver outstanding consulting services with expertise in strategic planning, growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, human resources support, and HRSA regulatory compliance. The team will partner with healthcare organizations to navigate complex challenges and achieve sustainable success, shaping the direction of Facktor’s strategy- and growth-related service lines. The Managing Director, Strategy, Leadership & Development must have extensive expertise in their field and be considered a thought leader within Facktor and among clients, guiding and mentoring to drive innovation and excellence to be better than yesterday.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the firm, this role offers a high level of autonomy and influence, with the opportunity to shape the direction of the organization. The Managing Director will be responsible for driving business development, fostering client relationships, and providing strategic leadership to ensure the continued growth and success of the firm.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead high-level internal strategic planning initiatives
- Set the direction for the division and the organization as a whole
- Provide visionary leadership to drive growth and stability
Business Development
- Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations
Expertise and Industry Recognition
- Bring deep expertise and a proven track record of success in the healthcare consulting - FQHC domain
- Serve as a thought leader and industry expert, with significant recognition and influence
Leadership Development
- Develop and implement strategic succession plans to promote division growth and stability
- Mentor and coach team members to foster leadership development and talent retention
Division Oversight
- Provide oversight and direction to division directors and their respective teams
- Ensure team alignment with overall strategic objectives and client needs
Interim C-Suite Roles
- Possess the ability to step into interim C-suite roles (such as CEO, CAO) as needed
- Provide leadership and strategic direction during clients’ transitional periods
Cross Division Collaboration
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination across Facktor’s divisions
- Maximize efficiency and effectiveness in project execution and delivery
Communication and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key spokesperson for the division
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the firm's brand and capabilities.
What we look for:
- Understands, lives, and promotes the mission and values of Facktor both in the workplace and in the community.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FQHC leadership.
- Experience in healthcare consulting with a focus on strategy, growth, and business development preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships, closing deals, and driving business growth.
- Deep expertise in FQHC healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in strategic planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Experience leading complex change processes and projects.
- Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset and a results-oriented approach.
Environment:
- Facktor supports a remote office environment. The Managing Director, Strategy, Leadership & Development will be required to travel to client locations, as needed. Ideal candidates have the ability to travel both locally and nationally.
Salary Range:
$190,000 - $230,000
