Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager to join our team at Matus
International, Inc. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of
human resources functions within the company. You will be responsible for implementing
HR policies and procedures, managing recruitment and selection processes for Florida,
Delaware and California and, fostering employee relations, and ensuring compliance with
employment laws and regulations.

- Developing and implementing HR policies/procedures in line with employment
laws and regulations.
- Overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Managing employee relations and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Coordinate performance management processes for both shore-based and seafaring staff, including goal setting/metrics, performance appraisals, and career development plans.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including certifications, training records, and ensure
compliance with maritime industry standards.
- Administering employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with company
policies.
- Providing coaching and guidance to management on HR-related issues.
- Managing employee training and development programs to enhance skills and
- competencies.
- Conducting regular HR audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure employee handbooks are updated and available to all employees.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or
related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR manager in the logistics or transportation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM) is a plus.
