Job Overview
The P&C Engineer is responsible for becoming an expert in all things related to P&C. The P&C Engineer will need to follow PRS processes to ensure customer satisfaction on projects. It is expected that the P&C Engineer work on billable project work 90% of the time. The P&C Engineer will support the Project Manager to develop all project deliverables to the highest quality. The P&C Engineer will need to be familiar with the project scope to identify scope creep or change orders and report them to the Project Manager. It is important for the P&C Engineer to ask for help where needed either from the Project Manager or the Lead P&C Engineer. The P&C Engineer will need to be flexible as there will be many projects that the P&C Engineer will need to go between to support on different levels.
Responsibilities and Duties

- Become expert P&C Engineer.
- Support Project Managers in the company to ensure quality deliverables on projects.
- Detailed review of P&C deliverables for projects.
- Reviewing P&C processes and providing feedback.
- Complete assigned work within agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget to a high level of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with other team members as you work towards a common goal.
- Follow all PRS processes and provide feedback during weekly meetings.
- Participate in sales calls or meetings as necessary to support company growth.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Experience in electric power system protection and control, substation equipment, substation safety, and testing.
- Experience in electric power system design, studies, and protective relay applications.
- Experience with ABB, Beckwith, GE, SEL, Siemens, and other relay manufacturers.
- Willing to travel a minimum of 25% per year.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Background check results satisfactory to the company.
- Negative drug test result(s).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,987.29 - $118,501.56 per year
