KC PALLETS INC is a dynamic and innovative company committed to excellence and growth. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to join our executive team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of the executive office and driving the company's strategic initiatives.
Position Summary: The Chief of Staff (CoS) will act as a strategic advisor, project manager, and liaison between the President/CEO and various stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills to manage and support critical business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support:
- Assist the President/CEO in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analyses and industry trends.
- Facilitate the decision-making process by preparing comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
- Ensure alignment of various departments with the company's strategic objectives.
- Monitor the execution of strategic plans and identify areas for improvement.
- Communication and Liaison:
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the President/CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft, review, and send formal communications on behalf of the President/CEO.
- Coordinate and manage the President/CEO's schedule, ensuring effective time management.
- Financial Oversight:
- Analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing for and participating in meetings with banks, investors, and other financial entities.
- Meeting Preparation and Follow-Up:
- Prepare agendas, materials, and briefings for important meetings and events.
- Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Represent the President/CEO in meetings when necessary.
- Special Projects:
- Lead special projects and initiatives as directed by the President/CEO.
- Conduct research and provide analysis on various business topics.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
-Master’s Degree: Possession of a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field is required.
-Executive Support Experience: Proven experience in a high-level executive support role is essential. Ideal candidates will have previously served as a Chief of Staff or in a similar capacity, demonstrating a strong track record of supporting senior executives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years previous experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Ability to work from our Woodstock office Monday to Friday and every Saturday.
- Punctuality is a must - When in office hours are 6:30am - 4:00pm (Monday-Friday) and 7:00am - 11:00am (Saturday).
- On-Call availability as needed.
- ***Please note for the next three months work will be from Schaumburg IL, permanent location is Woodstock IL.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
