The Automated Systems Manager will lead process improvement and automation efforts in the Assembly and Manufacturing areas. The goal is to increase efficiencies throughout production cells.
- Obtain quote requests for capital expenditures
- Create and maintain process documentation to ensure proper manufacturing methods
- Be a results-oriented change agent and effective business systems thinker
- Assist with product/process design for new/existing manufacturing methods
- Provide training assistance on operations and preventative maintenance
- Interact with individuals both within and outside the company
- Be proficient in computer software applications relevant to the job
- Lead and manage production process improvement projects
- Stay updated on future technologies utilized in the industry
- Collaborate with the Process Improvement Committee on project selection
- Program different controllers/machines used in manufacturing processes
- Evaluate feasibility of production improvement projects
- Maintain manufacturing-related documentation/information
- Integrate improved processes with other business activities
- Comply with ISO and government standards and regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field preferred
- 5-8 years of project management and/or technical experience desired
- Knowledgeable and experienced in industrial engineering and manufacturing processes
- Competent in data analysis, cost analysis, and problem-solving techniques
- Ability to create procedures, instructions, and diagrams, and train personnel
- Ability to ensure production processes meet safety, efficiency, and reliability goals
- Ability to develop and use systems/software to organize work progress
- Must be able to work cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions
Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
