The Clinical Reviewer conducts documentation reviews, assesses service needs, and assigns levels of care to CHFS committed youth in or at risk of out-of-home placement and monitors cases for quality improvement issues as they relate to the out-of-home placements. The Clinical Reviewer is a positive team player that promotes a culture of inclusion and participation.
Required Education and Experience

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other behavioral health field

Experience with case conceptualization, mental health diagnoses, and service planning/delivery

Licensed or certified mental health practitioner in KY

Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
Preferred Education and Experience

Two years’ experience working with children ages birth to adolescence in an outpatient setting, inpatient setting or out-of-home placement such as residential or foster care

Review and assign a level of care for initial levels of care, utilization reviews, reassignments, and redeterminations and enter data related to level of care assignment into the CRP database

Assess and consult on quality improvement issues and enter related information into the CRP database
