Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Operator is expected to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player, and being willing to learn and improve are key to this position. The goal is to ensure that operations will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.
POSITION DESCRIPTION Support of the following processes (may vary):
- Receiving to include goods receipts
· Perform manual unloading and loading of products (in boxes, etc).
- Critical shipment pickup and delivery
- Site-Wide pickup and delivery of various goods
- Miscellaneous processes upon request
- Warehouse Housekeeping
- Pickup, transport, and delivery of various items throughout the site
- Direct communications and accountability to SET Lead Receiver/Foreman and/or Warehouse Supervisor
- Operation of forklift, pallet jack, or motorized vehicle in accordance with procedures
- Knowledge of managing different sizes of pallets and super bag
- Experience in double stacking pallets and super bags
- Assistance with miscellaneous tasks as required
· Arrangement and Repacking of damaged pallets
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable
- Hold a valid Drivers License
- Forklift Certified
- Obtain and keep current all certifications/licenses required (forklift, 40 hour
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Work safely and follow procedures
