Axiom is seeking a Junior Records Management Analyst. This position is a hybrid (remote/on-site) position and requires a minimum Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include:
- Developing RM policies and procedures that conform to NARA guidelines
- Providing advice and guidance to management and staff on the creation, maintenance and use of records, electronic record-keeping and electronic mail systems;
- Analyzing information and records management business processes and provides recommendations to improve workflow and create efficiencies by making use of automated tools;
- Coordinating with and providing guidance to records liaisons and records custodians on records management life cycle requirements;
- Ensuring the proper disposition of records consistent with Government-wide policies and procedures;
- Implementing agency or organization specific records and information management processes;
- Assessing records and information practices to ensure they support the principles of transparency and information sharing throughout the organization, agency and Government;
- Training staff and contractors on records management requirements and activities.
Other duties include coordination and initiation of retention actions:
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance
- Cataloguing for Archival Search
- Disposition/Destruction
Required Skills:
- Secret Clearance
- Prior experience (2-3 years) in records management contracting at a federal agency
- Has familiarity with Records Management laws, rules (CFR -- Code of Federal Regulations) and (NARA) regulations and how they would apply to a federal government agency
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, and Outlook
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal background check/security clearance
- BS/BA degree, preferred
