This position is for a Full-Time Inside Sales position located in Franklin, Massachusetts
Marathon Tool & Industrial Supply is a small family-owned Specialty Tool and Fastener Distributor in business for over 30 years.
Marathon Tool is a sales and service company that services its industrial and construction customers throughout most of New England
We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our inside sales team
Some of the qualifications of a successful candidate
- Prior experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly Personable
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with Computers
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience within the field
Some responsibilities include
- Assist customers in a professional, courteous manner
- Answer customer calls, create customer quotes,
- Establish and manage strong client relationships
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and applications
- Promote new and existing products to customers
- Research technical issues and provide product training to customers as needed
- Pick, Pull, and pack customer orders for pickup and deliveries
- Perform deliveries and general warehouse duties when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Physical Requirements
- Frequently requires moving/lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment (10-50) pounds
- Regularly requires moving/lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment up to 90+ pounds team lift
- Frequently requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Frequently requires the ability to stop, bend, twist, kneel, push, pull, and crouch
- Occasionally requires sitting
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally exposed to high places,
- Occasionally exposed to fumes and dust
- Warehouse is not air conditioned
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud
- Requires listening for customer calls, personal pages and general information announcements
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,901.00 per year
