**Job Title: Treatment Coordinator**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating treatment plans, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support in a medical or dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical and dental office procedures, and exceptional communication skills.
**Duties:**
- Coordinate treatment plans for patients, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
- Provide administrative support by maintaining accurate patient records and billing information.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to optimize patient care.
- Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information efficiently.
- Assist in front desk duties as needed, such as greeting patients and verifying insurance information.
**Skills:**
- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient privacy.
- Experience with phone systems and handling patient inquiries effectively.
- Knowledge of dental office procedures.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as an ER setting.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Dentrix software preferred.
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
