Represent Alder Energy Systems—South Carolina’s oldest and highest quality solar installation company—and participate in transforming the energy industry through renewable technology solutions. Commercial Solar Associates work alongside our experienced solar sales manager. The work focuses on generating qualified commercial leads, acquiring new customers, and introducing business owners to the process of purchasing their electricity from a less-expensive, clean energy source. We’re looking for friendly sales consultants who strive to exceed expectations and build strong relationships with business owners.
Sales experience is a plus. We will train you how to be the best at selling solar electricity systems to our customers and equip you with everything you need to be successful.
Project sizes range from 50kW to 5MW. Alder Energy Systems is committed to the highest quality products and installation methods for complete customer satisfaction. We have access to a range of Tier 1 modules and finance/lease options to suit our customers’ needs.
· Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, and events.
· Sales of solar electric services to businesses and institutions.
· Master the delivery of Alder Energy System’s value proposition and competitive positioning.
· Maintain opportunity pipeline metrics in our customer database.
· Analyze customer electricity use history and consult on utility details.
· Build solar proposals based on site specifications, customer goals, and utility details.
· Follow-up with new customers after solar installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Participate in department sales meetings and individual performance reviews.
· Commercial (C&I) Solar sales experience preferred
· Technical Sales experience preferred
· Inside and Outside Sales experience preferred
· Excellent written communication and customer service skills
· Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities and respond swiftly to customer requests.
· Must be highly computer literate
· Occasional travel within a defined region
· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
· Experience with ZoHo, Salesforce.com, or equivalent CRM desired.
· Four-year college degree
· All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
· $40,000 base salary plus commission; motivated to earn $100,000+
Commissions based upon appointments scheduled and team sales
