WARE is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to manage the shipment and receipt of all incoming and outgoing parts, ensuring logistical excellence every step of the way.
Summary
The Shipping/Receiving Specialist is responsible for receiving, accuracy, picking, shipping, and storage of inventory to support both internal and external customers, working with a team of others to ensure our warehouse operation runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Pull parts to fulfill orders or requisitions, maintaining accurate records of items pulled
- Verify and pack items for usage or shipment
- Prepare bills of lading and other required shipping paperwork
- Stage product shipments in designated areas and wrap as required/directed
- Communicate routings, load times and other pertinent information to freight carriers and vendors
- Input tracking and part information into software program
- Assist in loading and unloading products from trailers
- Open, unpack, sort, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying items against receiving documents, checking for accuracy of product count and damaged items
- Ensure all incoming items are labeled and placed in correct stocking locations
- Drive and operate the forklift to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock
- Maintain safe and efficient shipping area and dock
- Keep work area orderly and clean
- Follow all safety procedures
- Perform other duties as requested

Requirements: Physical/Sensory Requirements
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds, without assistance or restriction
- Ability to carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Manual dexterity required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel inventory, with ability to also use a keyboard and calculator
- Frequently required to stand for long stretches of time, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Specific vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2+ years shipping/receiving warehouse experience
- Superb customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills that reflect proven ability to multi-task and own the details
- Flexible, with ability to pivot and handle changing priorities
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Technologically inclined, adaptable to new software and programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent time-management skills
- Prior experience driving a forklift a plus
