We are currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator for the United States Probation and Pretrial Services Offices for the Western District of Texas. The selected candidate will join the consolidated administrative team who provide support to approximately 400 employees in seven divisional offices and two satellite offices. The position uses critical thinking to accomplish the duties noted below and all other duties as assigned.
- Position requires two years of progressively responsible procurement experience. Such experience should have provided comprehensive knowledge of the practices and procedures used in these processes and hands-on experience.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, highly preferred.

Experience in government procurement guidelines, requirements, and processes; accounting principles and processes; records management; and property management highly desirable.

Availability for overtime and overnight travel required.
Starting salary is expected be set between the CL 26 / Step 1 ($53,586) to CL 26 / Step 25 ($66,980). Consideration for appointment at a higher salary level may be given to applicants who are transferring within the federal judiciary and/or possess a significant amount of preferred work experience.
