1736 Family Crisis Center offers crisis intervention services, including four 24- hour hotlines, as well as longer-term services in client advocacy and outpatient psychotherapy. The residential counseling and support services include shelter programs for (1) runaway and homeless adolescents, (2) domestic violence and human trafficking victims and their children (emergency and transitional programs (3) Homeless prevention and rapid re-housing services for the general population and Veterans and their families. Community outreach programs are provided to educate the public and prevent mental-health problems in the general population and in targeted groups to at-risk populations.
Responsibilities:

Complete activities to assist department and Director, such as related to 1736 Family Crisis Center staff clinical training, developing curricula to comply with agency requirements, California legislated requirements for domestic violence program direct service staff and interns.

Provide clinical and reflective individual and group supervision to MSW/MFT interns providing services to adults, children and families, assisting with problem solving complex cases and treatment planning.

Responsible for the onboarding and training of MSW/MFT Clinical interns, including obtaining affiliation agreements with identified Universities, meeting with school liaisons and fulfilling all required documentation with the universities.

Provides direct clinical services and counseling to clients in assigned programs, ensuring each client is provided complete counseling, advocacy, linkage and other services as needed.

Participates in program development and development of outreach materials.

Assists with the completion of program monthly reports, including the collection of monthly statistical data

Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Programs, Managing Director and Executive Director/CEO.

Assists in planning, developing, and implementing mandatory and discretionary mental health programs in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations by determining type and level of services to be provided; measures of quality-assurance to be employed; and formulating and carrying out policies and procedures.

Communicates any concerns about quality of clinician’s work to Program Director promptly.

Adheres to requirements for supervisors as stipulated by agency policies and procedures, and the state of California’s Board of Behavioral Sciences rules and regulations.

Certify staff compliance with licensure or registration requirements.

Supervise and sign BBS documentation.

Coordinate, review, and monitor case assignments.

Oversee specific team and program functions.

Monitor and improve agency operations by ensuring adequate staffing and provides clients' easy access to treatment services.

Ensure QA and DMH standards are met.
Qualifications:

2 years verifiable post degree in field/able to supervise MSW/MFT interns and/or possess a current and active California license as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
