Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Director for our Residential Treatment Center specializing in substance abuse and mental health. The ideal candidate will have an LPC credential or higher, along with significant experience working in a residential treatment setting. The Clinical Director will oversee clinical operations, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents, while also staying updated on relevant changes with the Arizona Department of Health requirements for residential treatment facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight: Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Program Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement treatment programs that address the needs of our residents.
- Staff Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions for clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in treating substance abuse and mental health disorders.
- Case Management: Oversee the assessment, treatment planning, and discharge process for all residents, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate follow-up services.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards, including staying up to date on changes with the Arizona Department of Health requirements for residential treatment facilities.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide clinical expertise and support during crisis situations, collaborating with staff to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders, including referral sources, community agencies, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- LPC credential or higher.
- Experience working in a residential treatment center for substance abuse and mental health. (2 years minimum required)
- Strong clinical skills with a deep understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Experience in clinical oversight, including supervision of clinical staff and program development.
- Current fingerprint clearance card, First Aid, and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership abilities with a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
