The incumbent is responsible for the effective and safe operation of the C-Arm to produce quality images for the surgeon to review, and print films as requested.
Position: Radiologic Technologistwith interventional (interventional radiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac catheterization) experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay: $40 to $50 (Depending on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures compliance for radiation badge usage within the angioplasty suites, tracks dosimetry badge readings and reports abnormalities to Office Manager.
· Scan lead yearly to determine integrity of the lead, determines if new lead is needed and removes old lead from circulation. Notifies appropriate staff if replacement is necessary. Keeps a log of yearly lead scans.
· Assists management with the initial opening of any new angioplasty suites within the company.
· Maintains radiological compliance for all angioplasty suites within Company.
· Responsible for the pre procedural set up and post procedural breakdown of the angioplasty suite always adhering to sterile technique.
· Preps and drapes patients in a sterile fashion.
· Scrubs with physician and assists at tableside; demonstrates knowledge of the equipment and product uses; circulate and hand off equipment using sterile technique to physician.
· Ensures that fluoroscopy is utilized in a safe and appropriate manner along with physician guidance.
· Ensures that dosimeter compliance is maintained.
· Ensures patient is safe and protected from excessive radiation exposure.
· Obtains final verification of signed, dated and timed consent.
· Ensures billing sheet is complete.
· Responsible for being knowledgeable of product cost and is expected to suggest cost-favorable alternatives for surgeons to consider.
· Responsible for being knowledgeable of, and adhering to, guidelines and rules of procedural pricing-based programs.
· Responsible for maintaining at least 85% accuracy in Orbits as measured by actual on hand quantities of items captured in inventory being consistent with numbers in Orbits.
· Responsible for maintaining established par levels as agreed upon with Lead Tech.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or other authorized TVE Manager or Executive.
Experience, Education, and Licensure:
- The incumbent must be a Radiology Technician and possess an active CT license and hold a certificate from a recognized radiology technician program, or a related diploma from a recognized two-year Associate Degree program.
- Certification by JRCET or ARRT is required, along with BCLS and CPR certification.
- Position requires a minimum of two (2) years of prior full-time experience in a hospital or surgical center interventional laboratory setting. Incumbent must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with all members of the team.
