Job Summary:
GH Grinding & Brewing Solutions is a specialty coffee focused organization providing top of the line grinding, brewing, and espresso equipment to a wide variety of coffee and food service professionals. We are seeking a creative and skilled Marketing Specialist with Graphic Design experience to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for creating visually compelling graphics and engaging content for various social media platforms, sales and business development collateral, tradeshow fixtures and other points of digital engagement. You will collaborate closely with the CMO to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our brand identity and objectives, ultimately supporting our sales professionals and diverse customer base. This role ideally will be based in Durham, NC, but could possibly be a remote position for the right candidate. This role will also be a contract position with a desire to evolve the responsibilities into a full-time role with benefits.
Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase followers, engagement, and conversions
- Manage and oversee social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas, track performance, and adapt strategies as necessary
- Design graphics for social media posts, sales literature, newsletters, landing pages and other marketing materials and campaigns
- Support the sales team by ideating and design mockups to present solutions to potential new clients
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds meaningful connections with our audience
- Ensure brand consistency in messaging and visuals across all channels
- Use graphic design software to create visual concepts that meet the marketing and content strategy
- Produce a wide range of materials such as infographics, brochures, emails, and newsletters
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends to ensure the company's visual content is relevant and fresh
- Work closely with the CMO to define and implement digital campaigns
- Collaborate with internal and external writers and other designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new ideas in content marketing
- Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms to build a community around our brand
- Engage with influencers, partners, and customers to foster relationships and collaborations
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Other tasks as assigned, including additional support for tradeshow booth design and programming.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
- Graphic Design, Marketing and Sales experience
- Experience with Shopify, CRM/Mailchimp, HTML, CSS, and SEO
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
Note: This is a contract position to start. Clear goals and objectives will be defined in the first 60 days to determine timeline and eligibility for full-time employment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
