Summary
Powers & Sons Construction is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager who will be primarily responsible for overall budget, determining project specifications such as schedule and quality, understanding product design, customer requirements, and performance standards from bidding through closeout. This role will play a significant and highly visible role in the team and requires a self-starter who possesses construction and project management expertise. The ideal candidate adds to the overall effectiveness and impact of Power & Sons by providing ongoing and day-to-day connection to both the company and customer, in the context of ensuring project requirements articulated, scoped and managed efficiently. Powers & Sons Project Managers overcome obstacles and push a project forward.
The Construction Project Manager is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Key Responsibilities
· Mentor and lead Project Engineers as required.
· Create and maintain project budget with respective cost codes; code and approve invoices.
· Process owner and subcontractor billings to ensure financial stewardship and accuracy.
· Review project RFI’s and provide recommendations of options to the architect.
· Develop and maintain project schedule.
· Price, submit and track all change requests.
· Run, keep, record, and distribute minutes of OAC and subcontractor project meetings.
· Prepare monthly Project Status Reports (PSR’s).
· Daily communication and coordination of subcontractors.
· Support business development efforts by maintaining a positive client relationship to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Establish and execute an overall project safety plan.
· Monitor quality of workmanship.
· Address scope discrepancies.
· Review Superintendent’s daily log for compliance.
· Manage buy-out process.
· Manage project closeout.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction, architecture, or engineering related major.
- Knowledge of the construction industry practices, procedures, and market trends.
- Proficient understanding of Accounting Software & Reports (Jonas)

Travel Requirement: We target projects within one hour of our office.
