ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. It is one of the largest franchisors of convenience stores in the United States. The ExtraMile Store Network is comprised of more than 1,000+ convenience stores in California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
We are currently seeking a Franchise Development Specialist. This is a Field Sales position and is remote based. This is a critical position as it is the active voice of the ExtraMile brand within Chevron’s Direct-served and Marketer-served (Wholesale Fuels Distributor) community. This position is a direct report to the ExtraMile East Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for the following activities:
The ideal candidate will need to be disciplined and have experience in conducting productive demonstrations in delivering ExtraMile’s Franchise Value Proposition to prospective franchisees. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel and be able to generate new sales leads on a regular basis. This candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field. Candidate must have a proven history of successfully selling a brand and/or Franchise offering. Experience with the dynamics of a Franchise business model are important. This candidate must have analytical skills with a vision for strategic decision making and extremely organized.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective franchisees.
- Educate prospects and attend trade shows deliver value proposition.
- Generate potential leads for future sales.
- Set and exceed sales quotas.
- Track and report sales in an organized manner.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the team.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Functional experience in both retail marketing, sales, and store operations is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Strong presentation and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management software required.
- Ability to travel to conduct business.
