Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting testing, tracking employment applications, and arranging interviews.
- Organize planning meetings for hiring when staff is identified.
- Examine applicants' resumes and select candidates for job openings.
Onboarding:
- Coordinate new employee paperwork and meetings.
- Communicate new hire information downstream and conduct employee orientations and tours.
- Implement new hire orientation
Personnel & Regulatory Administration:
- Coordinate and organize administrative tasks related to human resources functions
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and review policies and practices to ensure compliance.
- Verify I-9 documentation for new hires, rehires, and existing employees to ensure employment eligibility.
Performance Management:
- Assist with performance management procedures, providing administrative support, and helping management plan monthly performance meetings.
Employee Relations:
- Assist in creating and disseminating the company's employee relations policies in HR.
- Suggest employee relations techniques to build a strong rapport between employers and employees and encourage high levels of motivation and morale.
- Participate in the investigation process when grievances or concerns are raised by employees.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters.
Benefits Administration:
- May assist with benefits administration tasks as needed.
Payroll & Timesheet Management:
- Assist with payroll and manage timesheets.
Driver DOT File Maintenance:
- Maintain Driver DOT files.
Special Projects:
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in human resources or related administrative support roles.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay: $46,342.00 - $51,143.00 per year
