Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures on patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- Set up and operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Assist in the training and supervision of student technologists or other staff members as needed.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and participate in continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality imaging results.
- Knowledge of and adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
