Full-Time Content Marketing Assistant
The Healthy Place is a vitamin and supplement store based in Madison, WI. We are a family-run, small business. The Healthy Place began as a single retail store in 2010. We have since grown to three store locations and have a steadily growing eCommerce site.

Marketing Assistant Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated self-starter that enjoys solving complex challenges and learning new skills. Marketing Assistant responsibilities will be diverse. They will include assisting in the organization and development of multiple marketing campaigns. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company. This position offers plenty of opportunities for training and growth.
- Provide support to the Content Marketing Director.
- Develop and execute various marketing strategies.
- Oversee day-to-day content creation and SEO tasks.
- Assist with the management of ongoing marketing projects, such as the following: Product pages, Email marketing, Social Media Marketing, Local citation building, SEO marketing campaigns, Marketing assets for wholesale accounts, etc.
- Oversee various special content marketing projects.
- Create reports on marketing performance.
- Assist with the creation of various processes and guidelines.
- Conduct scheduled reviews of current marketing assets.
- Maintain systems of organization for marketing collateral.
- Oversee regularly scheduled processes for content performance review.
- Support resolution for SEO audits, including the performance and/or oversight of simple fixes.
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Must have experience having successfully worked in a remote position in the past.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing concepts
- Excellent time management skills
- Team-oriented, friendly personality who can communicate effectively with remote team members.
- SEO training, as relates to content creation
- Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing, and basic SEO concepts
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent copy-editing abilities
- Understanding or eagerness to learn about alternative and natural health solutions
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- 3+ years experience in marketing or equivalent
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Exceptional writing and proofreading skills. Must be able to understand and mimic brand voice.
- Proficiency with Google Drive, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
Additional Preferred Experience
- SEO training as relates to keyword research, local listing management, etc.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Asana, Klaviyo
- Familiarity with an SEO management tool, such as AHREFs (preferred) SEMRush, MOZ, etc.
- Familiarity with using Google Analytics and Google Search Console

Pay: $40,000 per year
