Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, with specific expertise in QuickBooks Online, payroll processing, and sales tax management.
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks including managing schedules, organizing files, and communicating with clients and vendors.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage accounts receivable/payable, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Navigate sales tax requirements and filings, ensuring all reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with team members to support various administrative and operational functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant with a focus on QuickBooks Online, payroll administration, and sales tax management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of payroll processes and sales tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support are a plus.
