Onsite, we have a Christmas store, outdoor pavilion / lawn, café, sports bar, and several food trucks. The Operations Services Lead is responsible for ensuring that team members are executing things with high standards in a fun and upbeat environment, and continuously promoting exceptional service to create a positive, inviting, and memorable experience for our team members and guests.

Your role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory is promptly and efficiently made available on the sales floor in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Developing solutions to continually improve inventory systems and communicating needs and concerns through appropriate feedback channels.
- Ability to manage the team safely and efficiently through example, training, and immediate guidance, feedback and suggestions if needed
- Ability to flex leadership style to team needs with extensive seasonal headcount growth early in the season and attrition at the end
- Driving engagement by caring and connecting with others.
- Warehousing:
- Organizing inventory in designated storage areas within the storeroom or warehouse. Provide suggestions for continuous efficiency improvement
- Unpacking merchandise from incoming trucks, boxes, and pallets & carefully inspecting new merchandise for any damage or flaws.
- Removing expired or damaged items from the shelves & correctly allocating discrepancies.
- Generating and attaching price tags or labels to the merchandise.
- Scanning items to accurately update the inventory system.
- Sales floor:
- Stocking shelves, racks, and display fixtures with newly received products.
- Returning misplaced products to their appropriate locations, including those found at checkout areas or elsewhere in the store.
- Delivering exceptional guest service while fulfilling guest orders.
- Providing assistance in other departments as needed.
- Communicating effectively with guests, team members and business partners.

- Experience as a hands-on leader who loves being on the sales floor to motivate, coach, and help teams succeed.
- Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, communication skills, and the ability to positively influence team members.
- A knack for attracting, identifying, and inspiring employees.
- Experience with training and onboarding of seasonal employees preferred
- Experience managing teams of 10+ preferred
- Passion for excellent service and teamwork.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and management skills.
- Previous inventory control and warehouse experience.
- Computer literacy:
- Knowledge of cash register/POS systems and inventory management control systems
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible availability, including before/ after store hours and weekends.
- Ability to lift/ carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, kneel, stretch, and stand for up to 8-hour shifts.
