What You'll Do
- Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment.
- Supports product development from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support.
- Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
- Create clear and concise reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products.
- Provides technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
- Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment
Here's what you will receive:
Pay: $35/hr + 10% shift diff
Duration: 2 year contract
Schedule: 2pm - 10:30pm - Mon to Fri
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience; or equivalent experience.
- Analytical and experimental design skills.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial. *Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
*Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams. *Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
