Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares income, estate, gift, sales, and payroll tax returns.
- Performs and reviews monthly bookkeeping.
- Prepares financial reports.
- Researches new tax and accounting developments.
- Manages projects of one or more client assignments simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each project.
- Shares and transfers knowledge within the team.
- Develops deeper knowledge and skills in technical field.
- Actively pursues self-development opportunities.
- Manages the implementation of solutions for clients.
- Advises and coaches team members, provides consistent recognition and encouragement to team members.
- Works as an effective team member to complete project components and assignment tasks.
- Performs a detailed review of the work to ensure quality, thoroughness and completion of assignment tasks within agreed time frames.
- Participation in recruitment, business planning, business development, and retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
- CPA, CPA candidate or EA preferred but not required
- 1 – 3 years public accounting experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite including MS Excel and Word
- CCH Axcess/Prosystems and QuickBooks preferred
- Demonstrated history of reliability and ability to maintain client confidentiality

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
