Upscale and fast-paced Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Office in out downtown Birmingham and Detroit locations is looking to add to our growing team. We are seeking a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant for a full-time or part-time position. Candidates must be professional, well-spoken and be able to work independently as well as on a team. Qualified applicants must have a current nursing or PA license for the state of Michigan, able to multitask in an active environment and be well organized. At least 2 years of prior injection experience is a requirement. Candidates must be hard-working, eager to learn and meet high expectations.
RN/NP/PA should collaborate with team members to manage clinic workflow, and ensure excellent patient care. This includes escorting patients to exam rooms, addressing questions and concerns, and reviewing patient health history.
Position Responsibilities:
- Administer Injectable treatments using neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, and PRP
- Perform blood draws
- Document patient's progress by taking pre and post procedure photographs and upload documentation into EMR
- Administer medications, assist with treatments and procedures under the supervision of Dr. Charles Boyd.
- Proficiency in medical documentation
- Familiarity with HIPPA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Performs telephone triage, patient education, and follow-up phone calls
- Cleans and stocks all patient treatment rooms
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each patient.
- Sustain proficiency through continuous education and trainings
- Travel between clinics , as necessary.
- Respond in a timely manner to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
- Utilizes current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect and cooperation. As a member of a healthcare team, functions in the role of patient advocate by being in the position of initial contact for patient- related issues.
- Inventory Management: The staff tracks and manages injectables inventory on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- RN or BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing or Physician Assistant degree
- Maintains CPR Certification
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of aesthetics preferred
- Prior injection experience is required
