An international market research firm is currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven sales director who can lead the US sales team and project managers in the US region.
The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years of management experience for over 5 sales staff in the team within the market research industry.
This position allows for remote work, but the candidate must be located in the NY or LA area.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve/ grow revenue for our present & new clients within the US region.

Managing, supporting, and developing the team of sales people and project managers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals that effectively showcase our services.

Lead the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, prepare sales reports, and provide regular updates to the management team.

Stay up to date with industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify business risks and opportunities.
Requirements and skills

Possess at least 5 years of experience in Market research industry sales (managerial role is preferred).

3+ years of experience leading a team of 5+ people.

Strong understanding of market research methodologies, data analysis, and insights generation.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel within the US region as required.
