We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in our projects focused on building and HVAC systems. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead various aspects of project development and execution, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of building and HVAC systems to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform energy analysis and calculate potential energy savings to optimize system efficiency.
- Evaluate and develop energy-saving measures in collaboration with the project team.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure smooth execution of project plans.
- Utilize building energy simulation tools to model system performance and inform design decisions.
- Design and specify HVAC replacements and retrofits for buildings, adhering to industry standards and client requirements.
- Design and commission building automation control systems to enhance energy management and operational efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and project progress.
- Review and prepare project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Engage with clients through meetings and presentations to communicate project updates and findings effectively.
- Provide cost estimating support to inform project budgeting and resource allocation.
- Report project status and findings to direct supervisors and project leads.
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the project team.
Experience, Technical Skills & Attributes:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
- Experience in HVAC engineering and design.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in technical data analysis, spreadsheet management, and presentation delivery.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, with advanced experience in Excel and Word preferred.
